Strong Commitment of SMI to Support Infrastructure Development

JAKARTA - PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (SMI) is committed to supporting the Indonesian government's focus in building infrastructure in various parts of the country. This is apparent from the amount of funding that has been given by SMI with the total amount reaching up to Rp 175 trillion.

This commitment is presented directly by Agresius Robajanto Kadiaman, Director of Finance and Work Support SMI. He explained that until October 2016, the company already has financing commitments amounting to Rp 39,50 trillion, with outstanding in the same month reached Rp 21,91 trillion, which is equivalent to the achievement of the project value of Rp 175 trillion.

"The total value reached Rp 175 trillion, it's the multiplier effect of 4,4 times," said Agresius Robajanto, as reported from Liputan6.com, today (09/12/2016).

For details is as follows, the financing composition which has been given by SMI include the project of PT PLN (Persero) amounting to 26,58 percent, 21,99 percent of road projects, electrification 15,48 percent, 11,32 percent of transportation. Oil and gas accounted for 10,80 percent, 8,01 percent irrigation, telecommunications 4,24 percent, 1,33 percent of drinking water, hospitals and social 0,25 percent.

If the distribution is based on the location of the project, 42 percent includes Java, Bali and Nusa Tenggara. Then, 28 percent of Sumatra, Kalimantan, 11 percent, 11 percent Sulawesi, Papua and Maluku 8 percent.

"Java, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara 42 percent, 58 percent were outside Java," he said.
