JAKARTA - The Board of Directors of PT MRT Jakarta holds a routine inspection "Safety Management Walk Through" in Lebak Bulus depot area, South Jakarta. This is done because the aspect of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) becomes a priority in the implementation of MRT Jakarta project.

President Director of PT MRT Jakarta, William Sabandar, along with Construction Director, Silvia Halim, and Finance and Administration Director, Tuhiyat,  direct this activity.

"Safety inspection is an activity conducted every month by the company management to ensure all jobs in the MRT Jakarta project is done with a good level of safety," said William Sabandar as reported from jakartamrt.co.id (8/2/2018).

William Sabandar explains that for the directors, it's not enough to make regulations or policies about K3. "We also have to see the implementation directly," he added.

In the routine inspection, the team was divided into three groups, each spreading over an area of eight hectares for about 45 minutes, then reuniting to deliver its findings. Each of the directors leads one team.
