Pertamina and BIJB Develop Avtur Distribution Infrastructure

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) together with PT Bandarudara Internasional Jawa Barat (West Java International Airport/PT BIJB) signed a cooperation agreement for development cooperation plan and management of Aircraft Filling Depot (DPPU) at West Java International Airport (BJIB), Kertajati, at Pertamina Office Center, Jakarta, Indonesia.

In connection with the operation of West Java International Airport in 2018, Pertamina will also build DPPU in other international airports. In BIJB, Pertamina will apply fueling process through hydrant system method which will use underground pipe system from DPPU to the parking stand in Apron as well as in Soekarno Hatta, Ngurah Rai, Kuala Namu and Juanda.

The cooperation agreement was signed by Vice President of Aviasi Dani Adriananta representing PT Pertamina (Persero) while PT.Bandarudara International Jawa Barat (BIJB) was represented by Director of Business Development & Investment, Erwin Syahputra and witnessed by Pertamina Marketing Director Muchamad Iskandar and President Director of PT BIJB, Virda Dimas Ekaputra.

Pertamina's Marketing Director Muhammad Iskandar said the signing is a commitment of Pertamina and PT BIJB to jointly improve the nation's economic growth. "This is the implementation of the synergy between State-Owned Enterprises and Regional-Owned Enterprises as well as Pertamina's commitment and BIJB in sustains national economic growth," said Muchamad Iskandar as reported from the press release (5/5/2017).

PT BIJB is a BUMD formed by West Java Provincial Government with the task of managing, building, developing BIJB Kertajati, which is currently under construction. In the DPPU management agreement for 30 years, Pertamina will provide avtur about 300 Kl per day.

The signing of this cooperation agreement with PT Pertamina is one of the many strategic cooperation that will be established by PT BIJB in the future to realise the International Airport which is planned to start the operational in Q1 of 2018
