PLN Boosts Electricity in Riau
JAKARTA – PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) continues to improve electricity infrastructure until 2019. Currently, the capacity of power generator already doubled than before. In 2016, the capacity is still 395 MW while right now the capacity is already 690 MW.
Regional Business Director of PLN Sumatra Amir Rosidin said PLN will accelerate the development of electricity infrastructure. Starting from the addition of generator capacity such as Balai Pungut power plant 3x25 MW, Tenayan power plant 2x110 MW and 150 kV transmission that connects Tenayan power plant with 150 kV Substation Pasir Putih.

In the second half of 2017, PLN will complete the construction of 150 kV transmission, 150 kV Pasir Panggaraian Substation, 150 kV Perawang Substation and 150 kV Bagan Siapiapi Substation. “In order to fulfill citizens and industrial electricity needs.” Amir added.
