Trans Java Toll Road will be Completed in 2018

JAKARTA - One more infrastructure projects will increase and useful for people connectivity in Indonesia, especially Java. The infrastructure is trans-Java Toll Road which is estimated to be completed in 2018.

It is presented by the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) of the Republic of Indonesia, Basuki Hadimuljono. He is optimistic that all trans-Java toll road construction along the 661 kilometres will connect entirely in 2018.

"We believe the Trans Java Toll can be connected entirely in 2018," said Basuki Hadimuljono, as reported from infonawacita.com (01/26/2018).

Basuki said that the progress of Trans Java toll roads that have not been connected, is the Brebes Batang-Semarang segment, along the 152 kilometres and the land acquisition has reached 92 percent. The Land acquisition payments will complete in the next two weeks.

For funding, Basuki admitted greatly helped by the bailout of the State Assets Management Institute (LMAN) which absorbed for toll road projects until December 2016 amounted Rp 15,75 trillion. "LMAN bailouts for in 2017 amounting to Rp 20 trillion, allocated for toll amounting to Rp 13 trillion, while the rest is for ports, railways and others," said Basuki.
