KSI Signed Partnership with Conch, Utilizing Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS)

Jakarta – PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia (KSI) signed a partnership for product supply of Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBFS) with PT Conch Semen Indonesia (Conch) for 2019. The signing ceremony was done at Conch Office, Bojonegara, Serang. Before, Conch has used GGBFS as one of the raw material in making cement. Other being used by cement producer, GGBFS also being used by readymix and batching plant companies. With Conch joining in, GGBFS market is becoming wider, besides Semen Indonesia Grup.

“We are very happy and thankful that with this partnership, our product could be extensively used in the cement industry. We hope that Conch could use our product even more than the previous year and we will continue to improve our product quality”, said Bambang Tridoso Oktanto, President Director PT Krakatau Semen Indonesia in his opening speech.

Besides signing the partnership, Bambang along with his ranks did a plant visit to see the process of how GGBFS is being used also the production and facility of the port by Conch.

This partnership is hoped to open new opportunities for KSI to reach other prospective consumers, especially in Banten, then the whole of Indonesia so that KSI could keep participating in building the country’s infrastructure.
