Strong Commitment of Pertamina in Developing Gas Infrastructure

JAKARTA - PT Pertamina (Persero) is committed to the development of the national gas with adding infrastructure and facilities of gas, especially LNG terminal and Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU).
It was announced by Director of Pertamina Gas Yenni Andayani in Pertamina Energy Forum 2016 on the theme "Energy Environment, Policy, and Governance: The Current Dynamics" at the Ritz Carlton Pacific Place, December 14, 2016.
"Currently, Pertamina also was in Cilacap FSRU construction with a capacity of 200 million cubic feet per day (MMSCFD), which aims to replace the oil fuel still on target in 2018. As in the transport sector, as many as 56 units SPBGs including MRU scattered throughout Jabodetabek, Palembang, Semarang, and also in the management of Pertamina Balikpapan, "said Yenni, in a press release by Pertamina (15/12/2016).
Yenni also confirmed that Pertamina is ready to invest in the upstream business of new and renewable energy where the required capital expenditure, beyond geothermal, estimated at approximately US$ 1,5 billion by 2019.
Meanwhile, Secretary General Director of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources ESDM Dadan Kusdiana expose it to encourage new renewable energy development which done by Pertamina. It also emphasizes the three expectations on Pertamina.
First, as the off-taker of new and renewable energy products, one of which is already underway, namely biodiesel and bioethanol, etc. Secondly, being a developer of renewable energy in the field of geothermal energy.
