JAKARTA - PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk. (DMAS), the developer and manager of integrated area of Kota Deltamas, is one step closer to achieve the selling target of the industrial land this year after successfully selling 20 hectares of the industrial land area to the companies from the United States.

Tondy Suwanto, Director of Puradelta Lestari, said that the company is optimistic that it will achieve the marketing sales target in 2017 because up to now, incoming inquiries from several investors to purchase the company's industrial land is quite a lot. Tondy added that this will support the company to achieve its sales target this year.

DMAS has successfully completed the land sale to a US company, Kohler. The company has conducted the first milestone for the construction of a production facility in the Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) in Kota Deltamas on November 28, 2017.

"Kohler has purchased an industrial estate in GIIC, Kota Deltamas, covering an area of 20 hectares with the result that we are one step ahead of this year's land sales target," added Tondy.

The sale of land to Kohler is also believed to contribute significantly to DMAS's operating revenues by 2017. Meanwhile, Kohler's presence further adds to the long list of leading companies that build production facilities in GIIC industrial area which owned by DMAS.

"Kohler's presence in Kota Deltamas shows that the GIIC industrial area is trusted by foreign investors because of its complete facilities, strategic location and ease of logistics access," Tondy added.

Previously, two leading automotive companies SAIC GM Wuling and Mitsubishi have been operating this year. The Mitsubishi plant occupies 51 hectares of land and has been in operation since April, while SAIC's GM Wuling plant occupies 60 hectares of land and has been in operation since last July.
